Artista visual, curadora e investigadora. Originaria de Caracas, Venezuela, reside en Yucatán desde 1996. Tiene una Licenciatura en Artes Visuales por la Escuela Superior de Artes de Yucatán y diplomado en Historia del Arte por la Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán. Ha obtenido diversas becas y reconocimientos por su obra en performance y video que se ha expuesto en diversas ciudades de México, así como China, España, Alemania, Chile, Argentina, Canadá e Inglaterra, entre otros. Co-fundadora de proyectos de difusión artística como Performance a Domicilio, Laboratorio Dzityá,La Periferiay el Festival de PerformanceTerritorios Inexplorados.
ENGLISH: BA in Visual Arts from the Superior School of Arts of Yucatan (ESAY) (2004-2009). Diploma in Art History from the Autonomous University of Yucatan (UADY). She has imparted Installation Art and Performance workshops for Secretary of Youth of Yucatan and Installation and Interior Design at La Periferia. FOECAY fellowships 2006 and 2010, in the visual arts category. Public´s Award at the II Yucatan Short Film Festival (2005) and the Jury´s Prize at the Fourth Edition of the same festival (2007). She has participated in the XII International Performance Festival of X-Teresa (2006) and at the Third National Visual Arts Biennial of Yucatan (2006), EJECT: First Festival of Video-Performance of Mexico City (2006), Third National Biennial of University Visual Art (2007), the 10th International OPEN ART Performance Festival in Beijing (2009) and Cycle CONTRASEÑAS 9: Video a la Mexicana / De sexo-s, amor y humor, curated by Monica Mayer at the MontehermosoCultural Center in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. Honorable Mention at the State Youth Awards (2007) in the category of artistic achievement and selected in the mART 2009 catalog. She has created cultural projects such as Performance a Domicilio, Laboratorio Dzityá, and La Periferia, serving as resident curator at the latter two.
